Charles Hicks and Roman Gate Patients Group

The Charles Hicks and Roman Gate Patient Group are volunteers who care about our NHS services. 

 

We are the voice of the patient to the Practice and wider NHS services and an information channel to the patient.

 

Our feed-back helps shape the future of healthcare services in our region.

Spending cuts are coming. This will affect us all. We support the Practice in adopting innovative solutions to maximize the effectiveness of their budget.

 

Unpaid Carers are vital for the health and well being of many with long term illness. But Carers need support too. Our Support4Carers initiative provided advice on where to find help and is run by Patient Group Volunteers.

 

The Patient Group provides a channel for patient education and health campaigns.

 

We raise funds to buy items for the benefits of patients which the NHS cannot (or will not) pay for. We often co-fund purchases with the Practice.
