Charles Hicks and Roman Gate Patients Group

• Set-up Support4Carers volunteer service at both the Charles Hicks and Roman Gate sites (see reception and notice board for schedule).

 

• Created a Practice book shop on both sites to serve patients and raise funds.

 

• Raised donations to buy two portable defibrillators for use on those suffering heart attacks.

 

• Paid for the baby changing equipment at both sites.

 

• Co-funded the purchase of new chairs for the waiting areas in both Practices.

 

• Working with the Practice to develop a more patient-friendly pre-bookable appointment system.

• ​Raised £500 to co-fund local volunteer First Responders in Huntingdon and Godmanchester.  

​

• Conduct patient surveys and collect feedback from the "Friends and Family" test.  Leaflets and suggestion boxes available in both surgeries.
